Bosheng Medical Devices’ Two Invention Patents Awarded Jiangsu Province’s Outstanding Invention Patent and Taizhou City’s Top Ten Employee Invention Patents
Recently, Jiangsu Bosheng Medical New Materials Co., Ltd. had two of its patents—“Disposable Biomembrane and Its Preparation Method and Applications” and “A Novel Coated Pharmaceutical Bottle Stopper and Its Manufacturing Method”—recognized by the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and the Taizhou Municipal Federation of Trade Unions as the Jiangsu Province Outstanding Invention Patent and one of the Top Ten Employee Invention Patents in Taizhou, respectively.
The invention patent “Disposable Biomembrane, Its Preparation Method, and Applications” focuses on advancing core technologies in key areas of the production and application of disposable biomembranes. The membrane material exhibits distinct advantages in barrier performance, tensile strength, chemical compatibility, and low leachability, making it a viable substitute for imported products. This project has been awarded the First Prize for Technological Application Achievements by Xinghua City’s Employees’ Association and was recognized as one of Taizhou City’s Top Ten Invention Patents by its employees. In recent years, Bosun Medical Materials has not only intensified research on critical common technologies and cutting-edge, leading-edge technologies but also, in order to enhance the mass-production capabilities of disposable biomembranes, has taken the lead in China in establishing a multi-layer co-extruded biomembrane production line for single-use systems (SUS), thereby effectively meeting market demand.
The invention patent entitled “A Novel Coated Pharmaceutical Stopper and Its Manufacturing Method” aims to address the shortcomings of existing manufacturing processes for barrier pharmaceutical stoppers and the associated issues of drug compatibility. By employing a self-developed vacuum vapor-deposition coating technology, the product boasts process stability, consistent quality, energy efficiency, and environmental friendliness, thereby endowing the novel coated rubber stopper with outstanding barrier properties, excellent drug compatibility, silicon-free characteristics, and stable chemical performance. This product has been recognized as a Jiangsu Provincial High-Tech Product and a National Key New Product, among other honors.
