Bosheng Medical’s Packaging Materials Institute Recognized as Taizhou City Key Laboratory
The Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology recently announced the list of municipal-level key laboratory projects for 2024. Jiangsu Bosheng Medical New Materials Co., Ltd.’s Pharmaceutical Packaging Materials Institute was named the Taizhou Municipal Key Laboratory for Pharmaceutical Packaging Materials.
This marks another step in the company’s innovation platform development, following previous recognitions such as Jiangsu Provincial Enterprise Technology Center, Jiangsu Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center, and Taizhou Municipal Engineering Research Center. It is also the first technology-related qualification the institute has received since it was established.
In recent years, the company has focused on innovation and independent R&D. Under the group’s direction, the company brought together its original rubber stopper R&D center, co-extruded film R&D center, and central laboratory to form the new Pharmaceutical Packaging Materials Institute. The institute focuses on basic and forward-looking research in rubber stoppers, co-extruded films, and advanced pharmaceutical packaging materials, supporting new product development and technological upgrades.
The Taizhou municipal government launched the key laboratory program to support local enterprises in conducting basic and applied research, as well as cutting-edge technology research. The goal is to strengthen core technology development and help build a foundation for future national or provincial key laboratories. After applications, local government recommendations, expert reviews, and public announcements, three companies in Xinghua City, including Bosheng Medical, received the recognition.
The company plans to use this recognition as a starting point to further develop the laboratory, improve its innovation platform, and accelerate the development of new products that meet market and industry needs.
