School of Materials Science and Engineering at Changzhou University Visits Bosheng Medical Devices to Conduct “Enterprise Visit, Job Expansion, and Employment Promotion” Activities
On January 21, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Committee of Changzhou University, Organization Department Minister Qin Yi, together with Chu Zhixin, Party Secretary of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Dean Ren Yurong, and other members of the delegation, visited Jiangsu Bosheng Medical New Materials Co., Ltd. to conduct research and exchange on the “Visiting Enterprises to Expand Job Opportunities and Promote Employment” initiative.
During the research visit to Bosheng Medical Devices, a delegation of university leaders from Changzhou University watched a corporate promotional video and conducted on-site tours of the company’s research institute and production workshops. Li Ligong, Chairman of Bosheng Medical Devices, provided a detailed briefing to the university leaders on the company’s development journey and on the achievements and progress made in recent years in areas such as participation in the formulation of industry standards, technological innovation in core products—including laminated butyl rubber stoppers, high-end infusion films, biomaterial membranes, and flexible tubing—optimization of industrial layout, expansion into domestic and international markets, and future strategic planning.
During the symposium, Qin Yi and Chu Zhixin provided an overview of the overall development of the university and its colleges, and engaged in pragmatic discussions on deepening and advancing the special initiative “Visiting Enterprises to Expand Job Opportunities and Promote Employment,” as well as on fostering strategic cooperation between the two sides, expanding collaborative education models between the university and enterprises, and broadening employment channels for graduates. Chu Zhixin noted that the Polymer Materials and Engineering program at Changzhou University was among the earliest polymer-related programs established at universities in Jiangsu Province and also the university’s first doctoral-degree-granting discipline. For many years, the program has focused on the synthesis and modification of polymer materials, their processing and molding, and application development—areas that align closely with Boson Medical Devices’ core business, thereby providing robust disciplinary support for collaboration between the two institutions.
Li Ligong extended a warm welcome to the leaders, experts, and professors from Changzhou University on their visit, emphasizing that the high-quality development of the pharmaceutical packaging materials industry is inseparable from a pool of highly qualified talent. Bosun Medical Materials has always placed great importance on building a robust talent pipeline and driving technological innovation. He stated that this in-depth collaboration with the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Changzhou University aims to leverage the university’s disciplinary strengths and human resources to establish a talent-cooperation model characterized by “order-based training and targeted talent placement,” thereby fostering collaborative innovation between the university and the enterprise in areas such as talent development, new-materials research and development, and critical technology breakthroughs. The goal is to seamlessly integrate the entire value chain of industry–education integration, ensuring the mutual success of students’ growth and the win-win outcomes for both the university and the enterprise.
The head of Bosheng Medical Devices stated that this exchange event has laid a solid foundation for in-depth collaboration between the university and the enterprise. Moving forward, the two parties will focus on the integrated development of the “education chain, talent chain, industrial chain, and innovation chain,” expanding the scope of cooperation through joint efforts such as co-building practical training bases, conducting collaborative research projects, and implementing targeted programs for cultivating specialized professionals. These initiatives aim to foster application-oriented, innovative talent, thereby helping the medical materials industry advance toward higher-end development and better supporting the national initiative to build a Healthy China.
