Bosheng Medical Devices Receives Another Prestigious Recognition: The “Guiding Principles for Rubber Seals Used in Pharmaceutical Packaging,” co-authored by the company, Has Been Successfully Included in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia (2025 Edition)
Recently, the “Guiding Principles for Rubber Seals Used in Pharmaceutical Packaging” (hereinafter referred to as the “Guiding Principles”), which our company helped draft, was incorporated into the 2025 Edition of the Pharmacopoeia of the People’s Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as the “Chinese Pharmacopoeia”). As the only pharmaceutical packaging materials enterprise in China to have participated in the drafting of these Guiding Principles, this milestone underscores the authoritative recognition of Bosheng Medical’s comprehensive capabilities in R&D, manufacturing, and quality control of pharmaceutical packaging materials.
In addition to participating in the drafting of the “Guiding Principles for Rubber Seals Used in Pharmaceutical Packaging” in the 2025 Edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, our company has also, as the sole corporate participant, contributed to the development of two general standards—namely, the “General Requirements for Rubber Seals Used in Pharmaceutical Packaging”—as well as five methodological standards, including the “Method for Determination of Ash Content in Rubber Seals” and the “Method for Determination of Moisture in Rubber Seals.”
As an essential component of pharmaceutical products, pharmaceutical packaging materials accompany the entire lifecycle of drug production, distribution, and use. Their quality directly impacts the safety and efficacy of medicines and is critical to public medication safety. As a member of the Pharmaceutical Rubber Stopper Professional Committee of the China Pharmaceutical Packaging Association and a leading enterprise in the domestic pharmaceutical packaging materials industry, Bosheng Medical Materials consistently focuses on the development of key technologies for pharmaceutical packaging materials and the pharmaceutical sector. The company actively aligns with international advanced standards, has repeatedly chaired or participated in the formulation of national and industry standards, and has been granted more than 100 patents, thereby becoming a vital driving force in advancing and elevating the standardization of pharmaceutical packaging materials.

The Chinese Pharmacopoeia is the national standard for pharmaceuticals in China and serves as the statutory basis that must be followed in all aspects of drug research and development, manufacturing, distribution, use, and regulatory oversight. Recently, the National Medical Products Administration issued an announcement stating that the 2025 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia has been reviewed and approved by the Executive Committee of the 12th Pharmacopoeia Commission and will come into effect on October 1, 2025.
